Karbook has several health camps. Karbook R.D. Block saw the successful organization of a number of health camps, community welfare programs, and awareness-raising events as part of the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas Celebration. A Benefit Saturation Camp cum Health and Nutrition Camp was held at Alutala S.B School under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, organised by Patichari VC. The event focused on ensuring 100% saturation of government schemes for the tribal population.
Furthermore, villagers received health check-ups, nutrition counselling, and information on welfare entitlements. This initiative reflected the district’s continuing effort to empower tribal families through awareness, support, and improved access to services. Because of strong participation from the community, the camp achieved its goals successfully.
Health Camp at Uttar Ekchari VC | Multiple Health Camps at Karbook
The Swasthya Sakhi from Nari Shakti VO actively participated in a special health camp held at Uttar Ekchari VC. Participants gained knowledge of crucial topics during the event, such as:

Another Health Camp was conducted at Uttar Ekchari AAM under Karbook R.D Block. The Swasthya Sakhi team supported residents through basic health screenings, counselling sessions, and awareness talks.

A special Health Check-Up Camp was organised at the Ekchari Anganwadi Centre under Bandhan VO, South Chellagang VC. Swasthya Sakhi Parbati Nama Biswas conducted the session with dedication and professionalism.
During the programme, 60 residents received blood pressure and blood sugar tests. In addition, the camp encouraged people to monitor their health regularly, adopt preventive care habits, and seek early treatment when necessary. This effort demonstrated how grassroots health programmes can bring significant positive impact to rural communities.
Adolescent Health & Wellness Program at Jatan Kumar H.S. School
An Adolescent Health and Wellness Program was held at Jatan Kumar Higher Secondary School with support from Swasthya Sakhi members. The session covered essential topics such as:

- HIV awareness
- avoiding early marriage
- preventing early pregnancy
Furthermore, students received clear guidance on maintaining physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. Because adolescence is a crucial stage of life, the programme helped young learners understand the importance of informed decisions and healthy behaviour.
Immunization Drive at East Karbook AAM Centre
A scheduled Immunization Drive took place at East Karbook AAM Centre, ensuring that pregnant mothers and children received timely vaccines. Swasthya Sakhis encouraged families to participate and understand the importance of immunization.
Additionally, the drive helped strengthen maternal and child health across the village. By promoting timely vaccination, the health team worked to prevent diseases and foster long-term wellbeing in the community.
First Jan Sunwai Session at Adi Sewa Kendras
The first Jan Sunwai (Public Hearing) session under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyaan was successfully conducted at the Adi Sewa Kendras. The event played a vital role in strengthening community engagement and promoting responsive governance.
