DM Janata Darbar Organised Under Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore 2026–27 at Chakmaghat Barrage
The district administration successfully conducted the DM Janata Darbar under the initiative “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore 2026-27” on 3rd February 2026 at Chakmaghat Barrage, under the Mungiakami RD Block. The purpose of this initiative is to bring governance to the people.
In addition, the event aimed at improving the transparency, accessibility, and accountability of governance at the grassroots level. As a result, the citizens got an opportunity to interact with the administration.
Active Public Participation and Open Dialogue
The Janata Darbar witnessed strong public participation from local residents. In particular, people from nearby villages attended the programme in large numbers.
During the event, the District Magistrate interacted directly with citizens. Consequently, people shared grievances, suggestions, and development needs without intermediaries. This interaction, therefore, strengthened trust between the administration and the public.
Swift and Structured Grievance Redressal
At the same time, officials registered grievances related to land records, social welfare schemes, pensions, healthcare, education, roads, drinking water, and employment. Subsequently, the administration reviewed each case on the spot.
In several cases, officials resolved issues immediately. However, they referred complex matters to concerned departments with clear timelines. As a result, the process ensured faster resolution and accountability.
Delivery of Services at the Doorstep
Additionally, the administration focused on delivering services at the venue itself. Officials distributed income certificates, caste certificates, and other essential documents to eligible beneficiaries.
By doing so, the administration reduced delays and unnecessary office visits. Therefore, citizens saved time while receiving timely services.
Skill Mela Encourages Youth Employment | DM Janata Darbar 2026
At the same time, the government arranged a Skill Mela to encourage employment and self-employment among the youth. In this way, the youth were able to get information about vocational training and skill development schemes.
Moreover, the officials explained the process of enrollment and the opportunities available. Consequently, the Skill Mela motivated the youth to look for sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Awareness on Welfare Schemes and Development Initiatives
In addition, the Janata Darbar served as an awareness platform. Officials explained various government welfare schemes in simple language.
Consequently, citizens gained clarity on eligibility, benefits, and application processes. This awareness, therefore, improved scheme outreach and participation.

On the whole, the successful holding of the DM Janata Darbar meeting has once again reiterated the commitment of the administration to responsive governance. In addition, direct interaction has also helped in boosting the confidence of the public in administrative affairs.
