DDU GKY Central Team, The Central Team of DDU-GKY held a review meeting at the DM–North Office today. After the meeting, the team conducted a field visit to assess ongoing development initiatives in the district.
The team inspected ARC potato plots and other vegetable cultivation areas at Jubarajnagar Gram Panchayat (GP). Officials reviewed crop conditions and farming practices. They also assessed overall productivity in the fields.
Later, the team visited oil palm plantations, where farmers have created irrigation potential by excavating farm ponds. The team observed the impact of these interventions on crop sustainability.
The Central Team then visited Huplong Gram Panchayat. There, officials reviewed activities related to honey rearing, processing, and branding. The team interacted with beneficiaries and examined value addition practices.
After completing the visit, the Central Team expressed high satisfaction with the progress of the initiatives. Members appreciated the quality of implementation and coordination on the ground.
The team also commended the district administration for its focused efforts. These initiatives aim to strengthen rural livelihoods and promote sustainable agriculture.
