Large Public Gathering in Karbook

Natun Bazar Malbasa, Karbook, Tripura: A huge political rally was held at Salka Karbook Anand Bazar under 43-Karbook constituency. It was attended by several local residents and party workers, significantly.

First and foremost, the rally was concerned with issues raised about 3 VCs (village committees). The meeting was organized by party leaders to solidify grassroots support. Consequently, the environment became boisterous with flags of political parties and slogans spread all over the venue.

In the meantime, there was a significant political development at the rally. About 15 families, nearly 40 voters, defected to the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT). These families have previously supported Tipra Motha and CPIM.

The new members were welcomed on stage by senior leaders. They brought scarves embroidered with the party name and thanked each other. The decision indicates increasing public confidence in IPFT, leaders said.

Senior Leaders Address the Rally
