Field Visit to Review Welfare Initiatives
PMUY LPG Distribution, The District Magistrate & Collector, South Tripura visited the Bru Settlement to review ongoing welfare initiatives. The visit aimed to strengthen service delivery and improve access to essential government schemes. Officials interacted directly with residents to understand their needs.
The District Magistrate was accompanied by the SDM, Santirbazar (S) Tripura, the Block Development Officer, Bokafa, and other senior officials. Together, the team assessed the ground situation and reviewed development activities in the settlement.
LPG Distribution Under PMUY
During the visit, officials distributed gas stoves and LPG cylinders to eligible households under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY). The distribution focused on providing clean and safe cooking fuel to families that earlier depended on traditional methods.
Officials explained the correct and safe use of LPG to beneficiaries. They also highlighted the long-term benefits of clean cooking fuel.
