The administration held a review meeting on 02 January 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Tirthamukh Mela Ground to evaluate the ongoing preparations for Tirthamukh Mela 2026. The officials reviewed the progress of various works that departments began after the preparatory meeting of 13 November 2025. As a result, the meeting helped streamline responsibilities and improve coordination among all stakeholders.
The Hon’ble Minister, Tribal Welfare etc. Departments, Government of Tripura, chaired the meeting, while the Hon’ble Executive Member, TTAADC, Smt. Dolly Reang, also attended. Furthermore, the Minister encouraged every department to complete their assigned tasks within the stipulated timeline so that the event runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Areas of Discussion
During the meeting, the administration focused on several priority areas. First, the officials reviewed infrastructure development and logistic arrangements. Next, they emphasized stronger inter-departmental coordination for safety, health services, transport, electricity, and public amenities. Furthermore, the participants highlighted the cultural and religious importance of the Mela and, therefore, stressed the need for disciplined and people-centric management.
Consequently, the departments agreed to enhance monitoring, speed up implementation, and work collectively to achieve better outcomes before the event.

Preparations are progressing steadily; meanwhile, departments and community representatives continue to collaborate closely.
