Ambassa Police liquor seizure
Ambassa, Dhalai: Ambassa Police seized a large quantity of liquor during raids in different areas of Dhalai district.
The police team searched several locations under Ambassa Police Station. Officers recovered IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor), foreign liquor and country-made liquor during the operation.
Police took the seized liquor into custody. They also started legal proceedings against the people involved.
According to police sources, officers will file a Prosecution Report (PR) under Section 45 of the Tripura Excise Act.
The police are now checking the source of the liquor. They are also investigating whether other people took part in the illegal sale or storage of liquor.
Meanwhile, Ambassa Police have stepped up action against illegal liquor activities. Officers said they will continue raids and searches in different areas.
The investigation is still underway. Police may take further legal action based on the findings.
