IPFT ADC Election Meeting, As the ADC elections approach, political activities are gaining momentum across Tripura. Political parties are actively holding village meetings and public interactions to reach voters at the grassroots level.
Against this backdrop, the Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT) organised a discussion meeting on Tuesday at around 5:30 PM. The programme took place at Gubchan Para under West Manikya Dewan ADC Village in Karbook RD Block of Karbook Sub-Division.
During the meeting, IPFT leaders directly interacted with local residents and discussed key political issues. IPFT Karbook Division President Shri Bhagirath Reang attended the programme and addressed the gathering. Meanwhile, Shri Pranab Tripura, Vice Chairman of Karbook RD Block BAC and Vice President of the IPFT Central Committee, also remained present.

Importantly, the meeting witnessed a notable political development. As a result of the discussions, 14 families comprising 32 voters left other political parties and joined IPFT. Party leaders welcomed the new members with enthusiasm. Shri Pranab Tripura personally greeted them and assured continued support.
Moreover, the speakers highlighted IPFT’s vision for the upcoming ADC elections. They stressed the importance of indigenous development, protection of tribal rights, and stronger local governance. In addition, they urged people to unite and strengthen the party at the village level.
Overall, the meeting reinforced IPFT’s organisational presence in the Karbook region. The party leaders expressed confidence that such grassroots programmes would help build public support ahead of the ADC polls.
