Major Update for Voters Final Roll Out for 56-Dharmanagar Constituency

56 Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency, Dharmanagar, North Tripura | 28 Feb 2026

In accordance with the notification by the Election Commission of India, today, February 28, 2026, is the official publication day of the Final Electoral Roll for 56-Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency. The draft roll has been compiled with January 1, 2026, as the qualifying date.

This is an important step in the preparations for Bye-Election to 56–Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency. It also provides transparency and improves accuracy in the electoral process.

In this regard, a formal meeting was held with political parties.

The ERO and SDM of Dharmanagar held a formal meeting after the publication. Sat in for the meeting were representatives of national and state political parties.

Representatives from the Office of the District Election Officer (District Magistrate & Collector), North Tripura, were also present. The ERO presented copies of the final electoral roll to party representatives during the meeting.

Also, the ERO extended a heartfelt appreciation to all participants. She thanked everyone for being actively engaging and collaborating throughout the SSR process.
