Field Visit Conducted in Khowai to Boost SHG Livelihood Initiatives

Khowai SHG livelihood projects, In a proactive move, the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Khowai led a field visit to promote rural livelihood development. Along with him, the Vice Chairman of Teliamura RD Block, BDO Teliamura, and officials from the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) joined the visit.
The team aimed to identify suitable land for upcoming livelihood projects. These projects will, in turn, strengthen Self-Help Group (SHG) members across the region.

During the visit, the officials inspected Jagannath Bari Gram Panchayat, Dakshin Pulinpur, and Vivekananda Gram Panchayat. At each location, they carefully assessed multiple sites.

Additionally, they considered the distance from beneficiary groups. Consequently, selecting nearby locations will improve participation and management.
