BSF jawan dies in Tebaria
Agartala, October 1, 2026: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan died after suffering a gunshot injury while on duty at a border post near Tebaria in West Tripura on Thursday morning.
The incident took place at around 5:45 am near Gate No. 52 of the Tebaria Border Out Post (BOP). The jawan belonged to the 42nd Battalion BSF.
According to preliminary reports, the deceased was identified as Nagendra Kumar, a resident of Rajasthan. He was reportedly on duty at the border post when the incident occurred.
