A Sub-Divisional Level Co-ordination Committee meeting took place on May 12, 2026, at Karbook. Hon’ble MLA of 43-Karbook Assembly Constituency chaired the meeting. Hon’ble MDC of 25-Nutanbazar-Malbasa Constituency, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), and officers from different line departments attended it.
The committee discussed several key issues affecting Karbook Sub-Division. Members focused on National Highway works, drinking water shortages, and the condition of existing PWD roads.
Officials reviewed ongoing development projects across the sub-division. They highlighted the need to complete infrastructure works on time. Members also discussed poor road connectivity and irregular water supply in several areas.
The Hon’ble MLA urged all departments to work together for faster development. He asked officials to resolve public issues without delay. The Hon’ble MDC also requested better coordination between departments and local bodies.
Departmental officers shared updates on current projects during the meeting. They assured the committee that they would take steps to solve the problems raised by members.
The meeting ended with a strong commitment from all departments. Officials agreed to improve coordination and continue development work for the people of Karbook Sub-Division.
