No Helmet, No Fuel Campaign Gains Momentum in Dharmanagar
Dharmanagar Sub-Division | North Tripura District
18 January 2026 The administration of Dharmanagar Sub-Division embarked on an aggressive stance to promote road safety as a crucial meeting was convened on 08 January 2026 with all petrol pump owners focusing on the initiative “No Helmet, No Fuel“. It’s a campaign to promote responsible driving and limit highway deaths.
Significantly, all 10 petrol pump owners from the subdivision showed up at the meeting. In a dialogue, they reiterated their joint pledge to not provide fuel for the violators of helmet rule on two-wheelers.

Strengthening Road Safety Compliance
The officials later informed the meeting that there was alarming increase in the incidents of road accidents on two-wheelers. And so, rigid helmet enforcement has taken precedence. Also, petrol pump owners would play a key role by backing up enforcement at the roots, they said.
The campaign has one clear theme — no helmet, no fuel. Therefore, it is believed that riders will drive in a safer manner and comply better with the rules of traffic.
Collective Responsibility for Safer Roads
The involvement of petrol pump owners is a big plus for community-directed road safety. Moreover, this co-operation also helps in the uniform enforcement of helmet regulations in the subdivision.
The report emphasized that road safety was a shared responsibility. So, things like this (campaigns) actually bring more and more awareness and sense of responsibility to the citizens.

Moving Forward | No Helmet No Fuel
The awareness program including monitoring will continue and the campaign will go on smoothly, added the administration. On the whole, ”No Helmet, No Fuel” project is a strong testimonial of concern for lives and discipline on roads reflected by North Tripura District.
In the end, together with Visible’s friendship with petrol pump owners and support of locals, Dharmanagar marches a step closer towards safer roads and responsible driving.
