Tripura BJP Kisan Morcha Announces New State Committee, Abhishek Debroy Calls for Stronger Farmer Outreach
Agartala, September 6, 2026: The Tripura BJP Kisan Morcha has announced its new state committee. The move aims to strengthen the organisation’s connection with farmers across the state.
The committee was introduced at the BJP state headquarters in Agartala. Party leaders and Kisan Morcha members attended the programme.
During the event, Kisan Morcha state president Abhishek Debroy spoke about the organisation’s future plans. He urged committee members to maintain regular contact with farmers.
Debroy said the team must understand the problems faced by farmers at the local level. He also stressed the need for stronger grassroots outreach.
According to him, direct communication can help the organisation understand farmers’ concerns better. Therefore, committee members will need to stay connected with rural communities.
The new committee will also focus on creating greater awareness about government schemes related to agriculture. In addition, members are expected to discuss local issues with farmers and take their concerns to the appropriate platforms.
Party leaders highlighted the importance of teamwork during the programme. They called for coordinated efforts across different parts of Tripura.
Meanwhile, the new committee is expected to expand Kisan Morcha activities at the grassroots level. Regular meetings and interactions with farmers could become an important part of its work.
Tripura has a large rural population that depends on agriculture and related activities. As a result, farmer outreach remains an important issue for political organisations in the state.
With the new committee now taking charge, the focus will be on its activities in the coming months. The organisation’s ability to maintain regular contact with farmers will likely remain a key part of its strategy.
