Youth’s Death Sparks Tension in Jatanbari; Police Probe Allegations

The death of a 33-year-old man in Ishwar Tilla, Jatanbari, under Karbook Sub-division has triggered tension in Gomati district. Police have started an investigation into several allegations linked to the incident.
Family members and local residents identified the deceased as Pradip Das. They alleged that Pradip’s father, Sukumar Das, sexually assaulted Pradip’s wife over a long period. They also claimed that the woman was four months pregnant.
