Tripura CM Reviews Business Conclave Projects, Orders 100-Day Plan
Agartala, September 16, 2026: Chief Minister Manik Saha has reviewed the progress of investment proposals that came up during Tripura’s Business Conclave.
The government had signed several MoUs with investors as part of its efforts to attract investment to the state. The latest review focused on what has happened to those proposals after the agreements were signed.
During the meeting, Saha directed officials to prepare a 100-day action plan for the projects. The plan will aim to speed up work and address issues that may be delaying implementation.
Attention on Pending Projects
For the government, signing an MoU is only the beginning. The proposals now need to move ahead through the required procedures before projects can take shape.
Officials have been asked to look at the present status of the projects and identify where action is still pending. Departments concerned will also need to coordinate with investors on the issues involved.
The 100-day plan is expected to give officials a fixed period to work on these matters.
From MoUs to Ground-Level Work
The Business Conclave was held to attract investment and create new opportunities in Tripura. However, the impact of such initiatives depends largely on how many proposals eventually become operational projects.
That is where the latest review gains importance.
Instead of waiting for projects to move ahead on their own, the government plans to follow their progress more closely. Officials will have to take up pending matters and work towards faster decisions.
Government Wants Faster Follow-Up
Investment projects often involve several departments and different stages of approval. Any delay at one stage can affect the overall progress of a proposal.
The Chief Minister has therefore asked officials to maintain better coordination. The 100-day action plan will provide a time-bound framework for this follow-up.
Officials will now work on the details of the plan and the projects that require attention.
Focus on Implementation
The next 100 days will be important for the projects discussed during the review. The government will be looking to see whether pending proposals can move forward and reach the implementation stage.
For Tripura, attracting investors is one part of the process. Ensuring that those investment proposals actually turn into projects will be the bigger task.
