15-Year-Old Boy Rescued from Udaipur Railway Station, Family Search Underway
A 15-year-old boy was rescued from the premises of Udaipur Railway Station on Thursday. According to preliminary information, the boy may have left his home around two days ago without informing anyone in his family.
The boy was spotted at the railway station premises, following which the matter was brought to the attention of the authorities. The Child Welfare Committee intervened and rescued him before taking him to a safe place.
Officials later tried to speak with the boy and gather information about his identity and family. However, he was reluctant to provide details about his name, home address or family members.
Based on his conversation, officials suspect that the boy may be from the Teliamura area. However, his identity and family details have not yet been confirmed.
Childline is trying to communicate with the boy through counselling to obtain further information about his family and whereabouts. At the same time, the concerned authorities are taking steps to trace his family.
The immediate priority is to establish contact with his family and safely reunite the teenager with his relatives.
