The District Administration held an important preparatory meeting today through Google Meet. Officials discussed plans for the safe and smooth celebration of Ratha Yatra 2026.
The District Magistrate (DM), Deputy Commissioner (DC), and District Project Officer (DPO) of South District joined the meeting. Senior officials from several departments and other administrative representatives also took part.
During the meeting, officials discussed security plans and crowd control. They also reviewed traffic management, emergency services, and sanitation arrangements.
Moreover, the officials focused on better coordination between departments. They stressed the need for proper planning and quick action during the festival.
The administration aims to keep the celebration safe and peaceful. Officials will work together to manage crowds and reduce traffic problems. Emergency teams will also remain ready to respond when needed.
